It is with extreme sadness that we inform you all that our very own, Brother Ezequiel Romero, a Recology Sunset Scavenger driver, passed away on January 19, 2021, due to COVID-19 complications.
Brother Romero began his career in August of 1988, servicing the Mission and Bernal Heights neighborhoods for twenty-seven years, before joining the Cart Department in 2015.
He was a dedicated employee for Recology Sunset, a proud union member of Teamsters Local 350, and most important of all, a loving father and husband.
Brother Romero is survived by his wife, three sons, and four daughters.
